Chess Levels: In chess, the level of expertise is measured in Elos, a name given after its inventor Arpad Elo, a physicist professor from Hungary.
the system was first implemented in 1960 by the USCF (United States Chess Federation) and finally adopted by the FIDE (also known as the World Chess Federation) in 1970. It replaced the old "Harkness System"
by being more accurate.
